My Story

Meet Bob Lebamoff

Owner Bob LebamoffBob Lebamoff was born and raised in Fort Wayne, IN. After high school graduation, Bob attended Michigan State University where he was a member of the Michigan State baseball team and earned his degree in 1986. After graduation, Bob moved to Chicago, Illinois where he worked for an Accounting and Consulting company.

In 1989, Bob, with his new wife, Janet, moved back to Fort Wayne and had two children, Lauren and Alex. Bob worked in the family hospitality business known to the locals as The Elegant Farmer. In 1995, Bob started his own business, Newsletter Exchange, which he and Janet worked together.

In 2006, Janet was diagnosed with terminal breast cancer. It was an uphill battle, but the family grew stronger. In 2010, Janet lost her battle with the disease. In memory of his loving wife, Bob established the JIL (Janet I. Lebamoff) Youth Sports Foundation in 2012, which supports kids in sports while a parent is battling a terminal disease. Bob has since owned and operated a baseball/softball training center and an online retail popcorn business.

  • 2009 Founder Stephanie King-Myers creates her first masterpiece - the paint and sip concept was born
  • 2011 Franchise Executive Nancy Bigley partners with Stephanie and the concept that started as “Bottles & Brushes” gives way to the “Bottle & Bottega” brand that we all know and love
  • 2011 The Bottle & Bottega flagship studio in Lakeview opened. Then, the brand expanded through national franchising, giving us over 25+ locations nationwide
  • 2011 We innovate the “paint and sip” concept by focusing on all art forms (not just paint), to ensure we are always fresh & creative
  • 2011 We created and launched Paint Your Pet, glass painting, and nude male figure painting parties
  • 2012 MILESTONE! We hosted our 20,000th painter
  • 2013 We raised over $20k for local charities via our Bottle & Bottega Fundraiser Parties
  • 2013 We launched our electronic Loyalty Program to reward our VIPs
  • 2014 Launched black canvas painting parties
  • 2014 USA Today names Bottle & Bottega one of the best franchise concepts for Moms
  • 2015 Bottle & Bottega is named in Entrepreneur Magazine’s “Top New Franchises” list
  • 2016 Bottle & Bottega is named in Franchise Business Review’s “Best of the Best” list
  • 2016 We launch even more new product line initiatives, including mosaics on canvas, Illumin-Art, and art masking.
  • 2017 Bottle & Bottega launches our new painting on wood pallet parties!
