Meet Bob Lebamoff
Bob Lebamoff was born and raised in Fort Wayne, IN. After high school graduation, Bob attended Michigan State University where he was a member of the Michigan State baseball team and earned his degree in 1986. After graduation, Bob moved to Chicago, Illinois where he worked for an Accounting and Consulting company.
In 1989, Bob, with his new wife, Janet, moved back to Fort Wayne and had two children, Lauren and Alex. Bob worked in the family hospitality business known to the locals as The Elegant Farmer. In 1995, Bob started his own business, Newsletter Exchange, which he and Janet worked together.
In 2006, Janet was diagnosed with terminal breast cancer. It was an uphill battle, but the family grew stronger. In 2010, Janet lost her battle with the disease. In memory of his loving wife, Bob established the JIL (Janet I. Lebamoff) Youth Sports Foundation in 2012, which supports kids in sports while a parent is battling a terminal disease. Bob has since owned and operated a baseball/softball training center and an online retail popcorn business.
