My Story

Meet Melissa Anderson

Owner Melissa AndersonAs a recent transplant to the Jacksonville area, I’m so excited to be bringing the first Bottle & Bottega to town and to be an involved member of this amazing community!

Born and raised in Arkansas, I joined the Air Force after high school and spent 9 years on active duty. Six of the nine years were spent stationed in England and Turkey. While in Europe I traveled extensively and got to experience the rich diversity of cultures and art. On each trip, I purchased a painting from a local artist as a keepsake. These paintings provide lasting memories of my experiences overseas. The next stop in my journey landed me in Virginia where I worked as an Education Specialist for 4 years. When I found out we would be moving to Jacksonville, the creative and entrepreneurial fire inside me was rekindled and I knew that this was my opportunity to live my dream.

Owning a Bottle & Bottega studio is allowing me to fulfill my calling of bringing creativity, happiness and joy into the lives of others.
