My Story

Meet Karen Hautzinger

Owner Karen HautzingerI have spent the past 30 years in Corporate America providing IT technical support. Intrigued with the sciences, I graduated from DePaul University with a degree in Mathematics and have enjoyed solving difficult problems. Definitely a geek.

While I like to play around with technology, I have always loved to dabble in the arts, especially painting. I have painted for over 30 years in my spare time and have found that painting is a great stress-relief, especially from the grind of Corporate America.

As I continue my life’s journey, I find myself more drawn to the arts, drifting away from technology. In exploring various options, I came across Bottle & Bottega and thought it was an amazing idea — a perfect fit — and a way for me to share my passion for creating art. I’m most excited about bringing people together in a place where they can escape from reality and let loose, whether it is through a public party, private event, corporate event, or even a fundraiser to create for a cause.

Whether it’s date night, getting together with friends, a bachelorette party, a corporate team-building event, or any other special occasion, I’m excited to share the joy and fun! Come join us and uncork your inner artist! One part artistic adventure and one part cocktail party, Bottle & Bottega is great for get-togethers with friends, creative corporate retreats or any special events!

Our fun, eclectic look, upscale approach, and emphasis on real art, has helped create lasting memories for thousands of Bottle & Bottega guests.
