About Us – Our Story

Owner Tara DoyleFrom my earliest memories I have loved to create. I could spend hours as a child poring over a coloring book (the smell of a box of Crayola crayons still thrills me) or drawing or even just watching Bob Ross paint his “happy little trees” on PBS. Art is such a total sensory experience for me. Growing up, I always marched to the beat of a different drum, with enthusiasm and passion. By the time I finished school I had a little of everything (and A LOT of art & science) under my belt, but one thing was clear~whatever I decided to put my mind to, I was going to do it with everything I had or not at all.

Since 2003 what I have poured into has been my family. Being a wife and mother continues to be the greatest work of my life. While my children were small, they could rarely be found without a crayon, pencil or book in their hands~so much like their mommy (and dad!). While that consumed much of my time, I retained an insatiable need to learn new things, so I kept my mind busy learning and creating; serving in leadership positions at our churches and kids’ schools, starting small businesses based on our stage in life at the time, taking courses on entrepreneurship, art, etc.

Being a retired military family, we have traveled the US extensively and lived in many different places. Our most recent move brought us to Florida in 2014 and we have settled in Winter Garden (which is the best city in the state, in our opinion!). Since our last child has entered school, I finally have time to really stretch my wings and apply the skills I have accumulated.

I attended a “paint n sip” event with the Wounded Warrior Project in early 2016 and realized quickly that *this* was the opportunity I had been looking for. After researching every avenue of starting my own studio, I decided on the Bottle & Bottega franchise. Our studios are so classy, but also casual & fun. The business model appeals to both my nerdy & creative sides. My husband and I flew to Chicago to meet the corporate team and the rest is history (and our future)! Our entire family is very excited to join the B&B family and serve our central Florida community by helping our guests explore their own creative-side.

Let us help you set up a private event that is sure to be memorable and fun! Or simply sign up for one of our public events. We look forward to creating an experience for you to remember!

One part artistic adventure and one part cocktail party, Bottle & Bottega is great for get-togethers with friends, creative corporate retreats or any special events! Our fun, eclectic look, upscale approach, and emphasis on real art, has helped create lasting memories for thousands of Bottle & Bottega guests. Our mission for our guests……

It’s Not An Art Class, It’s a Wine Art Party!

Scratch the structure. Lose the lecture. The only lesson to be learned here is that you do have an inner artist, just waiting to be realized! Bottle & Bottega is all about friends, a canvas and a bottle of wine. Bottle & Bottega parties are FUN and a chance to try something new in a relaxed and encouraging environment. The Bottle & Bottega experience truly is yours to design!

Celebrate Your Inner Artist!

Anyone can do this…really! It’s like magic. Even when our “Botteganistas” think that they don’t have creative chops – after a couple of hours (and glasses of wine), they emerge with an impressive work of art and an unexpected sense of pride in their accomplishment.

Art for Everyone

No pretensions. Bottle & Bottega presents art, in many different formats, in a way that everyone can engage with and find enjoyment in. It’s not about what’s “good,” it’s about what’s “fun.” Because fun is what’s good.
