Bottle & Bottega Partners with Local Artists
Always a supporter of local art and artists, Bottle & Bottega is taking its dedication to the next level by partnering with local artists to share their artwork as creative inspiration for painting parties.
Meet Kim Dettmer and Mary Elizabeth Hining, two talented artists that work and create art in their respective communities. Both Kim and Mary Elizabeth have partnered with Bottle & Bottega as “real artists,” meaning their own art is featured at studios across the country, and eager guests at painting parties recreate their art. This sets Bottle & Bottega apart from the competition in a sector where many other art and wine concepts simply find images online and paint them – Bottle & Bottega is using true art to inspire creativity in everyone.
A firm believer that everyone is creative and capable of making art, Kim Dettmer works in mixed media collage. She has written and illustrated a book, Moments Meant to Savor, and aims to bring happiness and joy into the world with her art. You can view Kim’s mixed media collage art, where she utilizes everyday items like magazines, newspapers, books, tissue paper, colored pencils, paint and glue to make whimsical and happy art, here.
Mary Elizabeth Hining gets her artistic inspiration from nature, which is apparent from the bright colors and lines evident in her glass, ceramic, canvas, wood, paper and textile artwork. A natural fit for Bottle & Bottega, Mary Elizabeth’s glass painting resonates with art and wine enthusiasts alike. Visit her site here and take a look at her beautiful work.
